Midsummer Renaissance Festival – looking back and looking forward

Posted on August 3rd, by EnlightenNext in Uncategorized. 6 comments

It has only been three days since the Festival is over and a lot of impressions are still in our minds and many of the inspirational dialogues call for further contemplation, thinking and talking it all through. From all of you who had the pleasure to take part for one or two days, we would love to hear what inspired you the most – which talk, performance or moment – and why. Is there anything you are thinking about that you would like to go deeper into, discuss further and/or move forward in your own life? We would love to hear from you – and the winners will receive 2 tickets to a speaker event of their choice.

Don’t worry –if you are not the winner we will still feature your entry for everyone to see on this site!

Thank you very much
The Midsummer Renaissance Festival Team

I found the weekend very enriching and will write about that too sometime but I was actually quite surprised to see this offered as a competition – I thought we were supposed to be getting away from competitiveness?

    • Hello Jane,
I agree we need to get away from competitiveness! But what if we use competition for our best, most inspiring, most inviting stories? It could inspire us all, which would not be competitiveness but a desire to share the good, the true, and the beautiful!

Hi Jane, nice of you to post, we came up with the idea pretty quick as many of us were headed over to Tuscany, any ideas of how we can continue the engagement would be great! Looking forward to hearing about your experience of the event…

PS. we’re cooking something up for May possibly…

  2. The Midsummer Renaissance event gave way more than I ever could have imagined, not only to hear all those very inspiring dialogues and see performances but to get to meet so many Evolutionaries! It was extremely inspirational on so many levels! The atmosphere felt to me like a mix of openness, excitement, becoming, orientation to the future and to the moment of now, action, warmth, new, freedom, evolution, all with underlying tranquility from knowing who we are. Thank you!
